Services · Founding and growth
Defined engagements for new and growing companies. Clear scope, clear price, clear timeline.
Early-stage legal needs are largely predictable: the same questions come up in roughly the same order, and young companies are watching every dollar. So we offer defined engagements at flat fees. You know what you’re getting and what it costs.
Engagements
Company formation
Entity selection, formation filings, operating agreement or bylaws, and initial governance documents. Filing fees are separate. Typically two weeks, including a 30-minute conversation about entity choice.
Founder agreements
Equity splits, vesting, IP assignment, roles, and what happens if a founder leaves. Best done before things get complicated.
Equity and option programs
Stock or option plan, board resolutions, grant templates and advisor agreements, for companies issuing equity to employees or advisors.
Fundraising readiness
Cap table review, equity cleanup and the documents investors expect, for companies preparing to raise a seed or Series A round.
Intellectual Property (IP) foundations
Trademark filing, copyright, and founder and contractor IP assignments. For most companies, IP is the most valuable asset, and gaps tend to surface at the worst time: when raising money or selling.
How it works
Most engagements start with a brief call. If we move forward, you get a one-page engagement letter, a fixed price and a timeline. Many are done in one to three weeks.
Don’t see what you need? Most early-stage work can be scoped at a fixed price. Just ask.

Most engagements start with an informal 30-minute conversation about you, what your business is working on and whether we’re a good fit. No prepared pitch, no commitment to engage.
